Great Value = Public residential university on Monterey Bay

CSUMB is an amazing school perched amidst 1400 acres of wilderness, but located less than 1/4 mile from the Pacific Ocean. Largely residential, you get much of the private liberal arts college experience at a public university price. The service learning programs, a world class marine biology program, competitive programs in business, kinesiology, and psychology, set CSUMB apart from other CSUs. And direct access to over 10,000 acres of national monument and miles of Monterey Bay shoreline make the school a truly special place.
