Studying abroad with family

Kelly and Emily are sisters from Taiwan and international students studying at Lancaster University International Study Centre. Emily studied the International Foundation Year in Law and Social Studies and is now studying Law and Politics at Lancaster University. Kelly studied the International Foundation Year in Engineering and Computing and is currently studying Computer Science at Lancaster University. Emily and Kelly talk with us about how studying abroad alongside a family member has made the experience a little easier, giving them both someone to talk to and lean on for support. Lancaster University International Study Centre also provided great support to Emily and Kelly, particularly in essay writing, which prepared them for future studies at Lancaster University. The additional sessions and mentoring offered at the International Study Centre were really helpful in preparing the sisters who benefited from the interactive atmosphere of a UK classroom.
