Fulfilling passion through research

“One of the most dynamic and innovative universities in Australia” – this was one reason why Shimo Zhang chose to do her PhD at CQUniversity. Having been a university lecturer for seven years in China, Shimo wanted to further pursue her passion in human resource management in a foreign environment, and truly make a significant contribution to the field. With support from high calibre, diligent and encouraging supervisors, and the networking opportunities she’s been able to seize in her time here at the University, she is well on her way to fulfilling this passion. Shimo’s research looks into the roles of the relevant attitudinal outcomes such as trust and job satisfaction in the High-Performance Work Systems and employee performance link.
