I am a hybrid – an intricate blend of diverse cultures weaved into a patriotic Armenian fabric. 

Having lived in the two most ethnically diverse cities in the world, Toronto and Dubai, I have been able to explore the world, and all it has to offer, without leaving home.

Hence, as a citizen of a global village, I am chargeable for its well-being. And so, to pay my dues, whether in Sharjah or in Kathmandu, I teach.

I teach to share my enthusiasm for the Krebs cycle and Newtonian mechanics.

I teach to interweave theory and practice – to help guide one through the labyrinth of information.

I teach to spark interest in others – to create an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. To cultivate a voracious desire to learn that will ultimately unmask one’s true potential – one’s true calling.

I teach to invest in the world – to sow the seeds that will bear the fruit of the future.

I teach because, as Benjamin Franklin once said, an investment in knowledge pays the best interest.

My habitat, and all its diversity, has molded me into a child of the world and I teach to leave my mark.
